O1 Study#
1.1 Reading Books#
The reading time for January has reached the target.
Finished reading "The Heart of the Galaxy: Sunset", quickly went through "America Against America", and also read a bit of "Immersed in It".
It was the first time reading space opera science fiction, and it felt very interesting. Humans like us, who are settled on planets, are primitive in the future, in the early stages of technological development.
Meanwhile, the patrollers living on generation ships have more advanced technology. They patrol the galaxy and defend humanity.
There are also humans with nanobots as their body cells, known as Iron Men. And the galactic beings, who may or may not be called humans anymore, had the same DNA as us billions of years ago, but now they no longer have the form of humans. They are extremely powerful, approaching godhood.
There is also an intelligent brain named Shadak, wherever there are humans, there are Shadaks. Shadaks are always trustworthy companions of humans, imprinted in the DNA of all people. They never lie, but they never make decisions. They provide the basis for human decision-making.

O2 Work#
The basic functions of the Argo component library have been completed, but there are still many details that need to be improved, such as code standards, CI/CD, etc.
Review#
Tasks are basically on track#
January included 10 days of the Spring Festival holiday, so from this perspective, all habits were on track.
Surprises in work tasks#
Started promoting daily code reviews in the new project and received support from the leader and colleagues.
Next, it is necessary to summarize best practices as a guidebook for code reviews.
English reading needs improvement#
The check-in rate for English reading is only 42%, which needs improvement.
Reflections:
- In the first half of January, I spent more time on reading books, and didn't have the energy to read English articles after work.
- Prioritize English reading and allocate time to read during the subway commute to work and after work.
Need to improve focus#
-
The tasks assigned in the second week did not have clear deadlines, which led to a lack of sense of urgency and low efficiency.
Improvement: Even if the team does not have clear deadlines, set deadlines for oneself to ensure personal efficiency. -
Using the Pomodoro technique in logseq is a bit troublesome, sometimes I forget to start the timer, resulting in no records. Sometimes I just don't use the timer at all.
Improvement:
- When using the Pomodoro technique, always remember to start the timer and not forget.
- Long-term: Upgrade the Agenda plugin to make the use of the Pomodoro timer more convenient.
- Consciously use the Pomodoro technique to manage work time and improve focus.
